Full Match

The blind levels have been reduced to 2 mins to speed up the video to illustrate a match starting, running through the levels and each player being eliminated until 1 player is the final winner.

Upcoming Tournament

This video shows the view on both admins and users to show which tournament is next and how long it is before it starts in days/hours/mins/seconds. At any time the admin can add people to that match or the users can add themselves.

This video shows adding players to a match along with tracking if the player has paid their fees or not.

blind level config

This video shows how to setup the blind levels for a match venue. The small and big blind is entered for each level along with the length of the level in minutes. If there is a break at the end of the level then the length of the break in minutes is also entered.

final table view

When the match reaches 8 players then the final table seating structure is automatically generated and shown on the screen.

Random seating positions for match start

Just before the start of the tournament and all players are entered in who are playing then the table structure can be automatically generated by going in the menu and selecting Table Structure. For the first seating positions the button "Randomize Table" is pressed and the players are evenly and randomly distributed on 1,2,3 or 4 tables depending on how many are playing. When the match reaches 8 players then the final table seating structure is automatically generated and shown on the screen.

league positions

Each player can view their own position in the Nuts or Redtooth Leagues for reference.

venue setup

Only designated venue admins can amend the start time of a venue, blind levels, voice options and prize structures for the their venues.

player search

If a player is new to a venue but has played in different venue and wishes to keep their own Nuts reference number then the admin can search for them in the general database and if found add them using their correct Nuts league reference.

player app view

Non venue admins are able to see a reduced menu with visibility of upcoming matches, options to add / remove themselves from a match or see their own stats and/or league positions.

voice config

Venue admin can add an element of humour to a match by amending the voice that makes certain announcements during the match. Each voice option has 4 random slots which can be amended at any time and if relevant the players name is announced along with the message. For example, if a player is busted out then the voice will announce something like "Anthony Wilshaw busted out of the match in position 13" etc, Break time is announced verbally with an audible count down and when the match starts or resumes then these are all configurable messages as seen fit by the venue admin.

Scores upload

Once a match is completed, then the venue admin click one button and they are automatically uploaded to the Nuts and Redtooth websites for that venue and event date along with the finishing positions and any new players are automatically created during the process.

Works on any device

One of the main features of Holdem Buddy is the fact that it will work on any device you wish to run it on. It will install on Amazon Fire Stick, Google Chromecast, Android Phone or Tablet, iPhone or iPad, Chromebook, Windows Laptop or Tablet. For example, You can have a laptop plugged into a TV in the venue for all to see and hear the blind levels, breaks, people joining or busting out of the tournament and use your phone to control the match from the comfort of your seat and all devices will communicate with each other and keep the tournament up to date.
